Phoenix's Surgery
Thank you to Dr. Dawn Miller for letting me sit in on the surgery.

10/18/02 - the leg is so infected it has absessed

10/21/02 the swelling has gone down after a weekend of antibiotic

10/21/02 Phoenix is put under for her surgery

Surgery preparations are completed

half of the femur is prepared for pinning

it takes a tremendous effort to insert the pin

Dr. Dawn was very pleased when she was finally able to close

Phoenix is home following her surgery
